Renee Schneider
I am an artist and visionary, passionately sharing my gifts to guide and inspire a consciously authentic way of being
When I was a child, I wanted to be an artist. They all said, “You can’t make money being an artist”. They didn’t understand that being an artist is not what you do, it is who you are. At every turning point in my life I was lead to choose the comfortable and predictable road; becoming a graphic artist instead of fine artist, becoming a kindergarten teacher instead of an art teacher and my favorite quote from a former principal where I taught, “Stop being creative and just follow the rules”. Finally, I said, “I want to be a fine artist and I want to teach art to children the way I want to,” so, I got a studio and started my own business. Hence, Colorful Kids was created.
Now, after teaching and developing my art, for quite a while, as well as embarking on a spiritual transformation, I have learned a lot about myself, my abilities and my goals. My core values include sharing love, kindness and authenticity as well as raising consciousness. Creating my art with these same values produces art that touches and connects with the viewer. I passionately believe that art is healing and is a necessary part of every person’s life. Art inspires, evokes emotion and is a catalyst to change. I now feel an even deeper need to pursue my dreams of being a fine artist in order to create a personal connection with others, one person at a time, to ultimately evoke a change in our world.

Is it possible to schedule a paint party at your studio?
Of course. I arrange paint parties for kids and adults. They’re wonderful for birthdays, team activities, or simply a fun night out. You don’t need any experience, and all the tools are provided! You can choose from an array of painting ideas, or I can make one up for you. The class is taught in an easy and encouraging step-by-step manor and you will be happy with the final product which you get to keep.
How do I order a painting or mural?
Just get in touch! I offer free consultations to discuss your ideas, space, budget, and schedule. After that, I’ll draw up a plan and keep you in the loop the whole time. Also look through my portfolio of artworks that are already created. If you would love to have it, just click on it to purchase.
Do families and other people feel welcome at your studio?
Yes! Kids, pets, and LGBTQ+ people are welcome at my studio. I built a space where everyone is welcome and new ideas are welcome.
