Trees and other Nature
I feel that I have a real spiritual connection to trees. They are the givers of life and, on occasion, I am drawn to a particular tree or group of trees that I actually can see their spirit and feel their vibration.
Parris
This is the first of a series of paintings I will be doing from photos taken on my trip to Parris.

Pet (and People) Portraits
The special bond that is created between animal and human is unlike any other. They are our teachers of compassion, companionship and, most of all, unconditional love. They are our soul mates. I feel a calling to capture the essence of an animal that honors the importance they have provided to their human families. Portraits are are created on a gallery wrapped, 1 1/2” deep, stretched canvas. Please contact me to commission a portrait of your special pet. Swing Time
My series of Swing Time paintings were inspired by my trombone playing husband and evenings in the dance hall while he played in a swing band. It began as a few paintings that captured the mood. As I painted, the words to a poem/song started formulating in my head and more paintings were added. This evolved into a self authored and illustrated children's book titled "Swing Time". Original illustrations, painted on 24'x24' canvas are available for purchase as well as prints on canvas. Copies of the book are also available. There is also a second collection of jazz paintings that were created after the book. These focus more on particular famous musicians.
